Please read our terms and conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings with Nu Woman Beauty.

Nu Woman Beauty is an Elite Makeup Artistry & Hair Stylist booking agency.

We have hand picked and carefully selected freelance makeup artists and hair stylists to provide you with a first class service. Nu Woman Beauty will manages all booking processes, payments and any enquiries however, makeup artists and stylists are not employees of NWB and act independently of Nu Woman Beauty once the booking is made. However NWB has strict protocol with all associates and will not use any staff who do not measure up to our extremely high standards. All stylists & artists are required to have their own insurance, a standardised professional equipment set and products and all staff are picked after close examination of performance on TV set, theatre, or alternative work. We have been using the same high quality staff for over 10 years.

The Booking process

1. Booking enquiries can be made via this web page, telephone or email.

2. Nu Woman Beauty will supply a quote and confirm availability.

3. To secure the booking, clients must pay the deposit. The deposit usually the price of a bridal makeup & hair consultation or a fixed fee, of which the balance is due between 7 days after the consultation and 7 clear days before the event date.

4. NWB will confirm receipt of your deposit, and provide clients with a booking summary which will include your consultation booking date. It is your responsibility to ensure that we are notified of any changes on the booking within 14 days of te event. If the client notifies NWB of any changes/additions after this period NWB may not be able to fulfil the booking.

Please note that the booking is not final until the deposit has been paid in full and Nu Woman Beauty has confirmed receipt in writing. We do not hold dates by verbal guarantees.

Payment

The deposit is payable to Nu Woman Beauty by using all major Credit/Debit cards via our secure PayPal or cash transferred via Bank Transfer to our Halifax Bank. We do not accept Cheque or Cash.

None of our Artists or Stylists carry or accept cash under any circumstances. They also do not accept direct future bookings from customers gained through Nu Woman Beauty and could loose their status with Nu Woman Beauty if found doing so.

Cancellation fees

If for any reason you cancel your booking, your cancellation must be confirmed by email or telephone. 100% of the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is received more than six months before the wedding/trial date. If a cancellation is received within three and six months of the wedding/trial, a £50 cancellation fee will apply. If we are able to replace your booking on the date of your cancellation, we may offer a discretionary rebate, however a £25 admin fee will always be chargeable.

Trial

Nu Woman strive to maintain its 100% satisfaction history of our makeup artist and stylist. If a client decides to cancel a wedding booking after a trial, the deposit for any wedding day charges will be refunded in full if we are notified within 7 days after the trial date providing that the cancellation is confirmed by email or telephone.

Nu Woman Beauty cancellations

In very rare circumstances a NWB consultant may need to cancel a booking. This has never happened before but, if it does, all attempts will be made to find an alternative staff member. If this is not possible or is unacceptable to the client, Nu Woman Beauty will refund 100% of the deposit. Again we stress that this is most unlikely.

Changes to bookings

Notification should be given of any changes to the booking as soon as possible. This includes changes to the number of clients, dates and times.

Change of trial date - All efforts will be made to provide an alternative date for your consultation, if Nu Woman Beauty is made aware of the changes within 2 weeks of the trial date. If you seek to change the date within 2 weeks of the consultation, you will be subject to a£25 cancellation fee.

Change of wedding date - We will do our best to rebook the original stylist for the new date or supply another available stylist. If this is not possible then the usual cancellation fees apply.

Changes to the booking - If you decide to change any aspect of the quotation, however slight, you render your previous quotation as invalid. A new quotation will be issued accordingly.

Change to number of clients - A new price will be calculated based on our current price list to reflect any changes in the bridal party. Please note that if the change results in the number of adults dropping below the minimum fee of £75 per Consultation and £100 bridal service, then a surcharge will apply up to that amount.

Cancellations - £25 cancellation fee will always apply.

Miscellaneous terms

Our Makeup Artists & Stylists reserves the right to work in a smoke free environment.

Artists & Stylists reserve the right to refuse to work if a clients behaviour towards them is inappropriate: This could include any of the following: Rudeness, aggressiveness, inappropriate demands, swearing and any form of misconduct. In this case the usual cancellation policy will apply.

Privacy Policy

The privacy of our visitors to Nu Woman Beauty.co.uk is very important to us.

At Nu Woman Beauty.co.uk we recognise that privacy of your personal information is important. We do not share any personal information submitted to us under any circumstances whatsoever.

We also do not disclose the names of our high profile clientele for the purposes of marketing or any other form of publicity. We do not supply pictures to the media.

By proceeding to book our services, you are agreeing with our terms and conditions.
